Château Mirambeau Papin
Vieilles Vignes
BORDEAUX SUPÉRIEUR
Concentrated, complex, dark and deep
The oldest vines of the Domaine are over 80 years old, planted with Cabernet Franc and Merlot, from very old massal selection.
The small production of grapes gives a concentrated, complex, dark and deep wine, memory of the long wine history of the peninsula. It is completed with the best lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
The vines are prepared from pruning to harvesting to bring the grapes to their best maturity: short pruning, de-stemming, leaf stripping, all these manners carried out manually, allow the grapes to be waited and picked with their highest potential. The harvest is manual.
After a long and gentle vinification, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels from the best woods in France. The wine is bottled two years after harvest and kept in our temperature-controlled cellars.
