Château Courrèges

cadillac côte de bordeaux

Fleshy, silky and mineral

The Courrèges vineyard is made up of plots of 20 to 30-year-old vines, Merlot and Malbec.
Located on the high plateau of Yvrac, the terroir is made up of limestone and clay-limestone on a bedrock flush with the surface.

A total grass cover allows a deep root system and perfectly regulated in water supply, both during wet periods in spring and during heat waves in summer.
The grapes are fed regularly and without excess. The vines are carefully cared for throughout the vegetation cycle (suckering, leaf stripping) to allow the necessary waiting before harvesting. Harvesting is manual.

After a gentle and long vinification, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels from the best woods in France (Allier). Eighteen months after the harvest, the wine is bottled and then stored under ideal temperature conditions (between 15 and 17 ° C).
